An Ontario Lotto Max winner wins big after hitting the $70 million jackpot.

Adriana Miklosikova initially believed her nursing coworkers' Lotto Max winnings from June 14, 2022, to total $256, but they really came to $256,051.80.

She said - It feels unreal. I’m shocked, excited and overwhelmed, but I’m thankful to be set up well for retirement,” said the Lotto Max jackpot winner.

A significant Lotto Max prize has been won by a group of BC nurses.

The 15 nurses, who have been playing lotto together for approximately two years, claim they have special plans for the additional funds.

On June 14, 2022, Adriana Miklosikova, a resident of Coquitlam, and several neighbourhood nurses each received more than $256,000 from Lotto Max.

"I was at home, preparing my breakfast after finishing my work out,"  In a press statement from the BC Lottery Corporation, Miklosikova provides explanations 

I scanned the ticket and thought it was $256, but then noticed the comma. I scanned it a few more times on the BCLC Lotto! app and realized it was $256,000.

Winning is unbelievable! We’ll all be able to plan something special with the extra money.- she further said.
