Jennette McCurdy gives the following reasons for her "jealousy" towards Ariana Grande: A "far simpler upbringing."

In her biography "I'm Glad My Mom Died," Jennette McCurdy claims that Ariana Grande "frequently" skipped the production of "Sam & Cat."

As a Nickelodeon star, Jennette McCurdy explained why she was "jealous" of Ariana Grande.

McCurdy, 30, opened up in her new memoir, "I'm Glad My Mom Died," about her "Sam & Cat" co-star.

As a "burgeoning pop star" who "often" missed filming, Grande was described by McCurdy.

McCurdy stated that she was left to "angrily hold down the fort" while Grande was gone "to go sing at award shows, record new songs, and do press for her next album."

Following the termination of "Sam & Cat," which ran from 2013 to 2014 for just one season

McCurdy said that Nickelodeon made the former actress an offer of $300,000 in exchange for her confidentiality. She declined the proposal.

Despite sympathising with Grande, McCurdy, who portrayed Sam Puckett on "iCarly," was disappointed that she was not offered the same possibilities, according to the celebrity.

During "iCarly," she remarked, "I booked two films that I had to turn down because the "iCarly" team wouldn't write me out of episodes to go shoot them."

Initially, Grande's absences were irregular, but finally, the actress and singer is said to have missed a whole week of filming.

McCurdy began to "resent being a good sport," which she had previously been lauded for.

"I wouldn't be in this situation if I wasn't such a good sport in the first place.

With this sh**ty hairstyle and these sh**ty lines, I wouldn't be appearing on this sh**ty show "she composed
