A look at our favourite Harry Potter scenes to celebrate Daniel Radcliffe's birthday

In order to demonstrate how the death of Dumbledore still affected Harry Potter a year later, Radcliffe absorbed the sorrow and rage of his character.

One such film that transports many of us back to our youth is Harry Potter. We've spent our entire lives binge-watching fantasy television.

Everyone who loves Harry Potter would concur that each of the movies did a fantastic job of putting us in the fantasy world.

1. The Sorting Ceremony!

In the first Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone movie, Daniel Radcliffe's naive and sweet facial expressions were just too cute.

The joy on his face when he is "sorted" into Gryffindor is something we all adore. It does a great job of portraying the entire sequence where Potter is first heard saying, "Not Slytherin," and later is sorted into Gryffindor, the house he desired.

2. When Harry Potter says ‘How dare you stand where he stood’

Daniel Radcliffe and Alan Rickman's showdown in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 demonstrated the breadth of the young actor's ability.

In order to demonstrate how the death of Dumbledore still affected Harry Potter a year later, Radcliffe channelled the hurt and rage of his character.

3. Expecto Patronum!

One of the best scenes in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is when Harry performs the Patronus charm. We were quite thrilled to see Daniel Radcliffe do a full-fledged Patronus.

4. I Must Not Tell Lies!

It's a moving scene, and it's always fantastic to see Potter respond to Umbridge's foolish advice.

When Umbridge is taken by centaurs toward the end of the movie, she seeks for Potter's assistance, and Harry appropriately responds, "I Must Not Tell Lies."

5. When Aunt Marge is destroyed by Harry Potter

Potter, who was generally thought to be very submissive, destroys Aunt Marge. That was a previously unseen aspect of the living boy.
